UITS: Stress Smarter

The transition from High School to College can be overwhelming and stressful. Our campaign was aimed at these new students starting their journey at Indiana University. University Information Technology Services (UITS) is a one-stop-shop to help students with any technology issues. In our research, we found students deal with stress in different and, often times, in extreme ways. Our campaign is designed to show them if they contact UITS, that stress may be directed towards other things.

Out of Home Advertising:

Riding the bus, walking to class, or eating in the dining hall, service can be rather if-y. Signage provides a unique way to get the message across when the consumer isn’t able to look at their phone.

Print Advertising:

The process of accessing technology on a large campus can be stressful and overwhelming to incoming freshman. We created this print ad based on insight pertaining to how students feel when they can’t access necessary technology.

Social Media Advertising:

With the intended target audience being incoming freshmen, Instagram is a crucial platform; no matter if it’s reels, stories, or posts. Students are constantly on their phones scrolling through social media. These ads will provide information to the consumer when and where they need it.

Our target audience tends to love free “swag”. From t-shirts to pens to playing cards, many will jump at the chance to grab some. With our UITS calendar, the consumer will be able to keep track of important school dates such as breaks and big events while also keeping track of homework and exams.
