Darn Tough Socks

We had a challenge to market Darn Tough Socks. Darn Tough Socks are a brand of socks that are used for strenuous activities such as hiking, skiing, climbing, biking, and so on. We dug in deep to learn about the product in order to advertise them. What appealed to us was the lifetime warranty – for almost anything. Meaning that the company will replace the socks for free with the exception of the extreme… and the extreme led to an interesting campaign.

Instagram:

Socks for life are one of the greatest inventions, unless your favorite animals set out to sabotage them. These Instagram posts demonstrate the lifetime warranty in an involving way to the consumer.

Interactive Instagram:

Who doesn’t love animals? Ever stop and think what’s going through their mind? While scrolling through the app, these interactive Instagrams posts will get the consumer thinking about super tough socks and their warranty for almost anything.

Twitter:

Squirrels roasting marshmallows? Well how about a sock? Our thinking was this eye catching ad would stop the consumer from scrolling and engage with the #ReplyTweet feature.

TikTok:

We are always looking for ways to elevate the consumer’s experience on social media. We decided that this TikTok allowed for the consumer to watch something that provides them with the facts of the warranty, while having a laugh at the same time.

Outdoor Board:

While passing this outdoor board, the consumer can spot the product and clearly see the benefit. Even better since everyone loves animals!
